Locust Grove Gardeners Fair

Photography Workshop

Hidden Hill Nature Photography Workshop. John Nation and Danny Dempster, world-traveling photographers and teachers, will lead a two-day photo workshop focused on Hidden Hill’s eight landscaped acres, but will also include portraiture, people and other perplexities. Participants will meet in the Utica Community Center at 6 P.M. Friday, May 11, for an indoor workshop. After the presentation, participants can spend the night camping out at Hidden Hill. Gardening with Bob Hill Tour & Q&A

Fossil Rock Day

Falls of the Ohio Naturalist and Paleontologist Alan Goldstein will host a "fossil rock day at Hidden Hill from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a huge display of ancient rocks, minerals and fossils – with some for sale. Alan will give an 11 a.m. talk on the rocks, some almost as old as him. Bring the kids and grandkids.
