Nothing says spring like a white crab apple blossom caressed by morning rain. It’s living art that can be captured forever in a photograph, and two of the Louisville area’s finest photographers, John Nation and Danny Dempster, will teach you how at a two-day Hidden Hill Nature Photography Workshop!
The opening session will be at 6 p.m. Friday, May 11 at the Utica IN log cabin city hall at 107 N. Fourth St. Nation and Dempster will offer an in-depth workshop on nature photography with a PowerPoint presentation and individual attention. Those who want can stay afterward for a fun campfire roast at nearby Hidden Hill, and spend the night in their sleeping bags and tents, but it is not mandatory.
Class members will join together at Hidden Hill at 6 a.m. Saturday morning, May 12 to begin taking photos with individual lessons provided. Participants will return to the Utica city hall at noon for a box lunch and personal critique sessions, which end at 4 p.m.
The cost is $125 per person or $225 a couple. Registration and payment before the classes is mandatory. Class size is limited. Contact Janet Hill at 812-282-0524 or firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
